So yesterday morning I stumbled out of bed to my computer and logged onto DA to find a very pleasant surprise. a DD! It's been a long time since there's been much activity at all in my inbox, and it's very warming to see people enjoying my work. I find it hugely inspirational and motivating. I'm doubly happy because it's the first time an oil painting of mine has received some exposure, so I'm very hapy to see people are enjoying that medium too. Thank you to everyone who left kind and helpful words on my work, and to those who added me to their watch lists, I hope you won't be dissapointed in future submissions! I will be getting through

So I bought myself a 30" dell monitor the other day and I have to say it's proving to be some of the best spent money so far ! I use my monitor to show my reference for oil painting so the size really makes a difference, not to mention digital work having an enormous viewing space to work in. So nice. I also bought myself a new chair for my studio set up. Figured I wouldn't hold back so I got a Herman Miller Aeron chair. Very comfortable and should last me at least 12 years (the warranty period) lastly, I bought a colour picker add on for photoshop !
