I originally started making this for a friends Bday, but it ended up too dark, so I continued it with the theme that arose unintentionally.

I have my interpretation, feel free to make your own. :]

I hope this brings a nice fresh side to abstract, rather then the same old.

Many thanks to *adonihs and `snowmask for help and critique along the way. :)

I made this using a base render and then painting in all the lighting effects, goo, smoke etc. in photoshop. I didn't keep track to closely, but all up I think it would be close to 20 hours of work.

I hope you enjoy as much as I do :]

Dark, and scary, but oh so cool, it's a litle weird, as in, I can't figure out what the hell it is, but it's funky all the same. =T

It's so goddamn scary, dark and... uh, toxicious. Seriously though, it LOOKS toxicious; that dripping green stuff et cetera. I love the render aswell.

I LOVE this :] Right from the point when Danny told me to ask you to show me. DOESN'T THAT SOUND COMPLICATED.

It is indeed a very different sort of abstract art. It's how you've incorporated a painterly sort of style with 3D abstract.
It's just so beautiful, and pulsing with life, like the tendrils are actually moving little by little, unnoticably, like the hour hand of a clock; unravelling.

I also find the background very intriguing. I seem to see... skulls. Like the Paths of the Dead :nod: It's awesome how the images aren't exactly concrete, and yet are able to extend the depth and dimension.

It is very different from other stuff I've seen from you. Gives me the feeling that I'm on the center of a deep forest. The background texture is beautiful.
