So been awhile since I updated this space! I'm certainly the frequent blogger am I not? .. no? .. no ..

Anyway, I'm making this update from a nice little 16th century appartment on a canal in Delft, Holland. I'm here with my parents, who are here for a few months, with the purpose of looking at all the galleries and so on. It's been great so far. Rubens, Vermeer, Rembrandt.. Van Dyck. Some incredibly architecture.. and the history in this part of the world is great! coming from a country formed when the room I'm sitting in now was already over 200 years old .

I'll be catching a train to london next weekend to look at the tate and the national portrait gallery and stuff, looking forward to that! Back home in 2 weeks. short trip, but sweet.


Back home I have some news . shortly after new years I got a month internship as a concept artist at Fuel VFX in sydney. They seem to like what I've been doing and seem to be keeping me on, I will be contacting them when I get home from europe. :{} so I'm a concept artist now.. gosh .


I haven't posted anything here for ages I know.. I said I was going to make stuff more, but I obviously lied to you and myself! SURPRISE!! not.

When I make something worth showing I'll show it.. hopefully that'll be sooner rather than later, and hopefully it'll be much better than anything so far!

So I just realised I should bump the other journal off the screen since I am back and that's all done.

the workshop was absolutely fantastic. I had a huge amount of fun, met many really great people and had the pleasure of watching and speaking to some of my favourite artists. The whole thing was incredibly inspiring, and I hope it will have a big, positive impact on my work.

I should be putting some new stuff up soon, and hopefully it'll be a lot more interesting than my previous static, boring paintings!



On another note, nearly the end of my second year at school. The end year exhibition is next week, so we'll have to hang it and shit this week. Not sure what I'm gonna be doing next year.. it's a big void of mysterious .. ness.
