I reckon global warming is a resilt of the Earth's spin speed speeding up, causing more friction because the years are indeed shorter.

My dad called me yesterday, and told me that he had to put our dog to sleep. She was 12 years old. I was looking forward to seeing her and my other dogs when I visit next month. I know how you must feel.

ive had the experience of losing a family pet as well.
We had a golden retreiver who had to be put to sleep when she got a serious foot infection, which resulted in amputation of toes. I remember how sad it was. I know how you feel. Luckily, the people who gave us the dog felt bad, and gave us another dog, who we have had for 4 years now, and she is awsome. My other dog, who ive had since i was 5 years old, looks like he is coming to the end of his years. Its to bad you lost yours.

I've had my dog since I was about nine, he's getting a little slower as of late, couldn't imagine not having him around.
My dad got my mum a puppy for xmas last year and both the dogs get along really well, I don't think they'd handle seperation well.
